Ruth Jeanne Marmarose, 101, is a current and active resident at Brookdale Cary. She served briefly in the Nurse Corps and later became a Realtor after her kids grew up. She has always loved to travel and has been to 15 countries and on more than 30 cruises. She has also loved to gamble all over (and usually won). On a typical day she gets dressed up (complete with jewelry) and goes to breakfast. She also walks daily. She attributes her longevity to good genes, hearty food and an active lifestyle.
