There’s a new choir in town this holiday season, one whose singers are all over 70 years old. About 15 residents of the Brookdale Urbana — an assisted living center on Amber Lane — will be performing Christmas carols during the facility’s Annual Family Christmas Open House on Thursday.

Alia Steele, an 11-year-old, has hit the road this holiday season. With her keyboard in hand, ready to spread Christmas cheer to local assisted living communities. Her first stop was Brookdale Fort Myers Lake Park.
