In honor of Women’s History Month, News 5 spoke with a woman in Johnson City about what it was like coming from Norway to America for a better life. Inger Rikstad, 87, husband's left their home country of Norway on a work visa after the massive destruction of World War II to start a better life for his family in Long Island, New York.

On Thursday, March 20, the Brookdale Trinity Towers celebrated a big milestone 40 years in the Coastal Bend. For four decades, the senior living facility has been focusing on making sure it's residents feel comfortable and at home. Employees, friends and residents of the towers gathered to celebrate this honor.
