A few weeks ago, a Brookdale Chandler Ray Road resident celebrated her 101st birthday and shared that her secret to life is tequila, which went viral. So much so that a tequila company flew out to surprise her with a special party!

Edith James, who celebrated her 104th birthday Sunday at Brookdale Hattiesburg, is believed to be the oldest veteran in the state of Mississippi, according to Veterans Service Officer Gerald Britt.
