Brookdale World War II Veteran celebrates 103rd birthday

A World War II Veteran recently celebrated his 103^rd birthday at Brookdale Kingsport.

Everett “Burns” Gilliam was drafted into the U.S. Army two days before Christmas. He served for three years during World War II. After serving, he returned home to work as an auto mechanic.

Friends and family gathered at Brookdale Kingsport to celebrate.
